Um ... if I can, I would keep the original good.
Clone as you said barbara only the lower part where there is the silhouette barely visible (or rifilerei, the better), but the composition I like most of all the other cuts. The gap between the boats I looked directly up the hill, the presence of boats and trees makes me think of a frame and the water to a kind of red carpet ..
Maybe a pdr slightly to the left was even better, who knows ..

If I understand it, for cropping, I think Andrew meant something

Yes Barbara ;-)
Now that I see it done, however, I would add another 2-3 inches below the base, to better balance.
So there is too much sky ...
It does not matter if we have a lopsided rectangle instead of a square ...
This you can print out and hang in the bathroom, in front of the water ...
:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D
Just kidding ... :-D
With another 2-3 cm of houses down, it seems to me already better than the original ... Or not?
:-D

falconfab have a lot to do with this pic, I'll propose a version judging you

I tried to minimize the elements while leaving then you had included that are an integral part of the shot.
according to my way of thinking when judging a click or what you wanted to propose must start by click, you can change but not change completely as is sometimes suggested.

I have read some posts on the fly, only after I processed the imm x nn be influenced by the opinions of others nn but I know at this point if it reflects the idea of ??PROF.
hello,

I think I prefer the image proposed by Mauritius to what I said ...
In a few days I will be able to bring samples processed with lightroom ...
As soon as I passed the rock of library management ... :-D

I do not like what sfocatone thrill in the foreground ...
Maybe if someone is able, would be to spread it gradually and with less violent effect ...
But as composizzione, I think the image we make a lot of ...
My two cents ... (but I do not know the language English speaker, so I do not know what I said ...) ...

Hello.
Andrea ... :-D

The cut of barbaric, it is interesting but perhaps a bit 'tight, the cathedral, it seems interesting but the real subject I wanted was the world in pink. Much closer to my "vision" and to my taste is the version of Invictus. Obviously not obtained in pp but obtained during shooting. That is, if I had a sufficiently bright lens (my 50cc to ta), blurring the yards, certainly would have been a better photo. However, I would have had, together with the cathedral, even the houses on the hill, as the main subjects ... What I do not like at all. I think I understand the criticism that I have moved, for the most part, to be honest, I share them, and now I see the flaws and limitations of this photo. Probably there was a better shot, but, in any case, I would have to change (a lot of) point of view, and maybe play with the colors and reflections of itking rather than a special mix of nature and a mediocre urban landscape.

Beautiful picture, amazing atmosphere, an extraordinary light. I think that the landscape is a little disturbed by the "flagpoles" .. However, in pre-release could only intervene with a chainsaw;-)
