Questa è un'altra foto che voglio proporre e che documenta la cattura del leprotto da parte dell'airone. La scena è molto più "forte" della precedente perchè si nota la tecnica utilizzata dal volatile e cioè quella di annegare il cucciolo. L'airone ha ripetutamente immerso e tirato fuori dall'acqua la preda fino a quando questa ha smesso di dibattersi. Alla fine l'ha inghiottita.
