The fire and the horns... linked to each other for as long as the world has existed.
Very impressive image.
Greetings, Valerio.

I've read your story, it's a beautiful custom! Even the masks and dresses are really special. I really like this shot of yours in which the fire is dominant!

A very fascinating image with a representation that is part of the traditions of the Mediterranean peoples and the countries of the East, whose costumes can be seen in the museum of masks in Mamoiada, which is worth a visit.

This one is also very beautiful like many of your other photos, from which many aspects of Sardinian culture can be deduced that are very interesting from an anthropological point of view. There are also these kinds of rituals in Sicily, but they are slowly disappearing. In Sardinia, on the other hand, there seems to be greater resilience from this point of view. You didn't write down what the meaning of the stake is behind the two main subjects. Congratulations for the shot and for the caption and..... Keep documenting if you can.
Hello, Gianfranco.

I've read the whole :-D It is a rite of passage, of pagan origin, re-signified within the Catholic Christian cult. Charming. Hello
