10.08.2023 La nostra prima sera al South Luangwa, il nostro primo Safari. Eravamo in cerca di Licaoni, ma ormai la luce ci stava lasciando...quando ad un tratto compare lei...dal bush si stava preparando per la caccia. L'abbiamo seguita fino al confine con la savana, stava fissando degli impala. L'attesa per lei erano le tenebre, per noi l'ansia di non avere più luce disponibile...ci trovavamo al centro di una scena di caccia, soli, senza atri 'turisti'. Questa immagine racconta gli ultimi attimi dell'ultimo suo tentativo di caccia non andato a buon fine per la fortuna dell'Impala e la sfortuna sua. Luce ormai assente, condizioni precarie ma lo sguardo magnetico racconta molto di quell'emozione. #wild #safari Our first evening at South Luangwa, our first Safari. We were looking for Licaoni, but by now the light was leaving us... when suddenly she appears... from the bush she was preparing for the hunt. We followed her to the edge of the savannah, she was staring at some impalas. For her the wait was darkness, for us the anxiety of no longer having available light... we found ourselves in the center of a hunting scene, alone, without other 'tourists'. This image tells the last moments of her last hunting attempt which was unsuccessful due to the Impala's luck and her misfortune. Light now absent, conditions precarious but the magnetic gaze tells a lot about that emotion.
