Yes, in fact this is what intrigues!
The ancient civilizations, even distant from each other from a geographical point of view, were all united by the great interest in the stars, just think of Stonehenge, Teotihuacan, or precisely the great pyramids of Giza ...
Even the myths of antiquity are similar and have points in common, I think for example of the story of the flood.
I wonder how much knowledge has been lost over the centuries and I also reflect on how much our mind has "settled" because of technology.
Perhaps I am wrong to generalize, but I believe that man is less accustomed to observing the sky and asking questions of meaning.
They are only personal reflections, I do not want to go off topic... I
hope to see more work on this topic, I'm curious!
Have a nice evening!
I also sign Magli! :-)

I have now finished your "sidereal" reconstruction. I
also read with great interest the comments of viola, in particular I was fascinated by the statement
I believe that man is less used to observing the sky and asking questions of meaning

that I share in a special way.
Dear Fabio thank you for this significant opportunity you have given
us

Simone, the thing that fascinates, at least myself, is that civilizations or peoples of simple villages, never come into contact share stories and myths, sometimes oral traditions that have been put on paper only in modern times, in which there are convergences that are incredible.
As for my 'modest' story there is no merit, since it is a simple synthesis, I hope rendered in a comprehensible way.

I'll bother you for a moment.
why did I call your dissertation sidereal (even if I haven't read it all, yet :-P )?
"sidereal" means relative to the stars and so far ... But "sidereal", etymologically and intrinsically is linked to the term "desire" which in fact means lack of stars.
From here every cue to understand religions and the movement of man to infinity can amplify and find new arguments, indeed new visions.
