Un paio di veri spaventi li ho presi in Australia con taipan e king brown ma... sono qui alla tastiera, è andata bene.

In Australia sono stato sette volte per circa sette mesi in totale. Mai itinerari turistici, circa 60.000 Km percorsi in Toyota ed una volta, con permesso speciale, in Arnhem Land, una settimana presso una tribù aborigena; era il 1995, si accendevano il fuoco in 20" con una tavoletta e rametto di legno, abbiamo mangiato formiche cucitrici, pesci e coccodrillo catturato sul posto. Quando mi sono voltato per fotografarlo.....non c'era più. Si era finto morto e ci sono passato a pochi centimetri....
Le foto.... Di "quei due" di cui ho dato cenno assolutamente no. In uno di quei casi menzionati rabbrividisco ancora ora nel ricordo e mi chiedo come mai non mi morse, ma qualche foto, fra le circa 11.000 dia dell'Australia ce l'ho, scattata in occasione d'incontri meno ravvicinati. Sto eseguendo una selezione di vecchie foto analogiche, dal 1974 al 2000, provvedendo alla digitalizzazione e, visto che sei interessato, te ne invierò copia, solo dammi un po' di tempo, diciamo.... entro il prossimo inverno. Posso fare di meglio e più rapidamente con molti scatti effettuati al serpentario di Alice dove ci lasciarono anche nelle due ore di chiusura per pulizia e pasto degli ospiti (ergastolani, poveri loro) ma il "sapore" è molto diverso rispetto agli incontri nella libertà della natura.
La passione per i quadrupedi pelosetti ci è comune anche se ora, per vari motivi, la mia famiglia ne è sprovvista, ma "loro" sanno ben percepire la buona disposizione di chi incontrano ed i cani di due vicini evadono spesso e volentieri per stare in giardino con me.
