Questa mattina sono tornato a casa dopo aver passato 4 giorni in montagna alla ricerca di insetti e altri piccoli animali. Avrei preferito restare qualche altro giorno, ma il vento forte di ieri mi ha costretto a ritirarmi perché era impossibile fotografare. Ho esplorato gli stessi luoghi della mia precedente escursione di 3 giorni della settimana scorsa, e ho incontrato di nuovo la stessa mantide, poco distante da dove l'avevo trovata la prima volta. Anche questa volta è stata molto collaborativa, purtroppo con questo caldo è tutto secco e ci sono pochissimi fiori da usare come posatoi. Così ho deciso di posarla su un rametto e per fortuna quel giorno il vento forte ancora non c'era. Questo scatto è stato fatto nel sottobosco alle prime luci, quando il sole filtrava tra i rami degli alberi creando una bellissima luce che cambiava ogni minuto.
