Entropia crescente, surriscaldamento….

To move a mass the friction whatever it is grazing, rolling, consumes and needs energy and a lot there is no remedy the tires are consumed and not only those, but I would like to move the discussion elsewhere in the Lomellina precisely area with agricultural vocation par excellence "the rice fields" Well for decades the properties have sown dispersed it is more correct fattened the earth with herbicides of all kinds to produce the excellence of rice with the result that today we see all, tumors of all kinds, the water better the poison then filtered into the deep aquifers, which we fish out to irrigate cook drink a perverse circle that gives us back what we have entered deep into the aquifer or from the sky refineries steel mills as a remedy today, we burn Savonarola or who condemned him lean towards the latter without a doubt any

Nature will take care of getting us out of the way, and not even in too long

Bravo Marino, the discourse is almost infinite in all the contexts that can be evaluated, from industry to agriculture to social habits. In his comment, Mauro says that he (or everyone) has also contributed to this drift... of course, but how can individuals get out of the system? I have traveled at least 2,500,000 km by car, between one construction site and another between one meeting and another and in all I believe that, for strictly private use, I would not reach, in percentage, 5%. How could I have done otherwise?
Unfortunatily say well, Ezio . The rhythms are geometric progression and it is difficult to imagine what is the acceleration in place towards the end.
With pleasure thank you for the passage.

The shot is nice . The caption confirms once again that it is not science and technology that decide the progress of our Planet but other interests.... unfortunately!!!! Greetings. Magú

Your shot is well thought out and made for an association of thought that does not make a wrinkle!
From Padano which I am I can only say that like others I sometimes dream of fog and galaverna that are now an exception and a rarity!
40 years ago they were the norm then slowly :-o :-/ sumptuous progressively vanished.
The hand of man, and the progress of the transition to capitalism have led us to this!

Absolutely lucid and indisputable your analysis that you can not subscribe.
The photo is still particularly beautiful!
Compliments Paul. :-)

Dear Paul good morning
As always your photos and your considerations, better "teachings" always make the center.
I am not an expert in either physics or meteorology, but I completely agree with what you write. I am convinced that the electric car does not solve the problem, personally I would aim for hydrogen even with all the difficulties and dangers that are intrinsic to it, but certainly surmountable.

Beautiful shot Paul, very special, accompanied by a description that you can not share. The last three lines are particularly appreciated.
Many compliments and a warm greeting,
Filippo

Magù,
Alessandro,
Enrico,
Roberto,
Cesare*,

thanks for the very welcome passage.
Paolo
*Hydrogen would be the only solution, already studied and industrialized by two major car manufacturers, talking about fuel cells but the choice is not technical. The stack cars that are proposed to us are made not to move but to limit mobility and, in the energy conversions necessary to make them move, they are by far the most polluting (not in topical terms) and with entropic increase (ie energy or exergia, as Fabio says) equal to about 65% of the energy used, or about 65% of the primary energy is thrown away form of heat.

I read very carefully what you wrote, with a lot of professionalism.
I would not like to agree but... unfortunately it's all true!
I'm much paul's fault is ours... of our generation, we hope well, "every day is enough its pain".
The fog can also give great images!

Dear Paul, the photo is beautiful and reminds me of times gone by.
The problem you pose is indisputably true (at least as far as I know, but I am not a specialist on the subject) and indisputably true are also dozens and dozens of other problems concerning the climate and its consequences on humanity.
What is the solution? Or, rather, is there a solution? Does it consist, if one can speak of a solution, in the elimination, or in a drastic reduction, of humanity?
Insomma, is there (or has ever been) a perfect balance that can be maintained without creating damage?
Request questions or my irrecoverable ignorance?
However, Paul, thank you for these topics that you invite us to discuss on this site.
A warm greeting !
Massimo :-)

A warm greeting Agatha ;-)

Nice photo and nice reflection :-) even the debate that has arisen I find it interesting 8-) I have often wondered, in fact, what environmental costs the batteries of electric cars will have (from the materials necessary for their construction to the disposal) and with what energy sources the electricity will be produced to recharge the batteries :-/

Sad but unfortunately true your thought,
And as someone says our powerful in recent years have faced the problem with many Bla bla bla.
Congratulations Paul.

The shot is very beautiful but very significant is the caption that forces a deep reflection.
Comments for having proposed to our attention a problem that is more relevant than ever and, unfortunately, difficult to solve.
