Ero dentro il mio capannino portatile che fotografavo vicino al nido della Cincia Bigia, quando vidi questo Saettone arrampicarsi sull'albero e andare spedito nel buco del nido per uscirne fuori con in bocca l'adulto che stava probabilmente covando. Ho potuto fotografarlo solo a metà, era troppo lungo per la focale che avevo in quel momento. Devo dire che mi è dispiaciuto tanto vedere la mia amica Cincia finire nella bocca di quel serpente, ma poi ho pensato che la natura è dura da vivere e che il dispiacere è riservato solo a noi umani. Ma non so se quello che ho detto corrisponde a verità, perchè ho delle foto successive all'evento, che riprendono il compagno della Cincia che si dispera fuori dal nido quando vede la cruda scena.
