I, who love dogs immensely, reading this story was deeply moved. Professional zeal is an important virtue, but like all the rules of this world it takes a little common sense to apply them. Then we see palaces or fixers who break the most fundamental laws with impunity without any punishment. But here it is only a question of inner sensitivity that not everyone possesses unfortunately. The photo perfectly testifies to the story, the quality passes in the second order. Sincere congratulations Metal.
Bye gios ;-)

Thanks Gios, I fully share your comment, I attach here the quote of a beautiful famous passage by Calvin:
"The hell of the living is not something that will be; if there is one, it is what is already here, the hell that we inhabit every day, that we form by being together. There are two ways not to suffer from it. The first is easy for many: to accept hell and become part of it to the point of not seeing it anymore. The second is risky and requires continuous attention and learning: to seek and know how to recognize who and what, in the midst of hell, is not hell, and make it last, and give it space."

Really sad story, and your photo is moving. Our dear dog friends who leave us so early, I have so many bereavements on my shoulders.

Beautiful photo document to which I have not even thought about the exposure or other of a technical nature. In fact, I appreciated the tangible sign that animals leave to certain people and you showed a case where so much love also responds to so much carelessness and ignorance. Greetings and congratulations for the photo.

I am really sorry Merak, we are in a bad time, man had already brutalized himself in his modern evolution, this pandemic has given the coup de grace to mankind :-(
The photo is beautiful, and the technical considerations pass great in the background, I believe that the dog is yours, and his look and his composure are to be considered teaching the behavior of those who destroyed the tomb.
For them I use only punctuation ........... you can enter the words as you like.
I greet Loris

Thank you very much Dylan and Loris for your words close to my sensitivity; on the other side there are those proud to have done their duty: perhaps the Martians are us. Hello, a warm greeting, giancarlo

Beautiful shot and significant and sad caption, unfortunately remain immense illegal constructions and you can not tolerate a plaque of 30 cm.
A greeting see you soon
Agata ;-)

This is an emotional image.... I really like it ;-) and I agree with some reflections ..... half of Italy is made of illegal constructions ..... and pardons .... and exceptions..... and I am convinced that this small tomb would not have done further damage ..... Hello

For all of us who love nature and are sensitive, it is sad to see these things.
Our four-legged friends for us are part of the family and we treat them equally, and as always the law is not the same for everyone.
Compliments for the delicate proposal.

Well made image, quality matters little, what matters is the document taken to testify,
I share your thought, unfortunately the little sensitivity of some hurts that of many others ...
hello Claudio
