Il gruppo delle Odle è una catena montuosa delle Dolomiti che segna il confine tra la Val di Funes e la Val Gardena, completamente integrata nel Parco Naturale Puez-Odle. L'intera catena viene divisa in due dalla Forcella del Mezdì. Dal lato est abbiamo la parte centrale con il Sass Rigais (3025 m), la cima più alta e più frequentata. A ovest abbiamo la parte delle "Odles", che in ladino significa "aghi". Le Odle sono l'immagine simbolo della Val di Funes. Sono considerate il gruppo più bello delle Dolomiti per il loro profilo classico e frastagliato. Chi ha potuto ammirare i riflessi dei raggi solari sulle pareti rocciose in una chiara giornata di settembre, mai più si scorderà questo spettacolo della natura. Pareti merlettate si ergono dai neri boschi di conifere, infuocati e luccicanti, con gole e burroni intrisi di oro splendente, fino a che le montagne impallidiscono e muoiono col tramontare del sole.
