Modern towers or skyscrapers are impersonal parallepipedes that rise tens and tens of meters upwards, made of concrete at the base, steel and glass the rest. The ancient ones preserve a thousand-year history and even today they are there waiting for visitors to be admired. Great beautiful photo. Congratulations also for the caption.
Bye gios ;-)

I do not know if you know the history of San Gimignano and its towers, there were such a quantity that from the paintings (logically the photographs were not :-D) in our new world was nicknamed the Manhattan of the Middle Ages, it will mean something ;-)
Empre nice to admire these views.
Hello Loris
