Venice an ordinary night sent on August 11, 2021 (17:27) by Gabbia65. 138 comments, 1907 views. [retina]

at 35mm, 2 sec f/2.8, ISO 200, tripod. Venezia, Italy.

I work as your usual always well prepared and managed ;-) light only on what you wanted it to be... about the technique of exposure to the right .... I tried several times.... but in the end I always prefer to expose correctly or make three shots :-P A hug and a good summer dear friend

Thank you so much Rosario pe ala your visit and for the appreciation. On the exposure to the right I understand you. Walking alone in this direction is difficult and above all it takes a long time to understand what are the nodal points of ETTR. I am not a phenomenon. Marianna Santoni showed me the way in a workshop and since then I have been studying to be able to squeeze as much as possible and obtain results that were previously precluded. If I hadn't got the right imbeccate, I would do as you do, you can be sure! :-P :-P
Good summer to you and good light, Rosario
With affection

The result I would say is excellent. The exposure on the right gave good details in the shadows without overexposing the window lights too much. Good job.
A salute

I just have to join with great pleasure to the many beautiful comments received, however more than deserved dear Cage :-P . Truly a beautiful result. Shot from 110 with praise. I look and about the Location and I think; but because no one has looked out from that illuminated balcony, I wanted to be able to add to the Praise the Academic Kiss mannaggia ...
Vabbè let's settle :-D :-D
Sincer congratulations Cage
a warm greeting
Max

Thanks Max, too good really. The location is Campo Manin, and no one has overlooked the balcony for two reasons: the first is because of the late hour (or early morning, depending on taste), the second is that venice is now sparsely inhabited and most likely these rooms are not private homes and therefore, at night, they are uninhabited. I have to settle, I have no hope for the academic kiss :-D :-D :-D
Thanks again from the heart, your words excite and honor me
