mi sveglio presto e tra il buio ancora le nebbie. Sbuffo, ma poi scendo per la colazionee dico allo Sherpa che partiamo lo stesso. Dopo poca strada qualcosa di grandioso si apre davanti a noi; la sagoma slanciata del Pumo-Ri domina lo scenario, tutt'intorno ora è diventato limpidissimo. Ho paura che tutto possa finire , tante foto, c'è una luce abbagliante, un contrasto di colori valorizzati da ombre marcate tipiche dell'alta quota. Iniziamo la salita alla cima del Kala-.Pattar "roccia nera" (5.560 m) . fatica, fotografie, fatica , passo svelto, fatica. mi ero "dimenticato" della quota. Non so più da che parte guardare ma poi il Sagarmatha vuol essere privilegiato, mostrandosi in tutta la sua possenza. E' sbalorditiva la sua dimensione a noi del tutto inconsueta. Dentro di me un grazie di aver avuto questo privilegio...
