I climbed for the first time as a boy, 70s, with a great and tiring path, because the driveway was not as paved as today and my father, with the cars of the time (he had a Lancia Flavia 1500), did not feel like facing a jeep route. Then came back several times, I also took my son there as a teenager, making him meditate on the lives of the many young fighters of just one century before. An instructive and fascinating path, as well as the one, much simpler, that is located next to the 5 Towers, just to name another. Large-scale photos, a particular angle that makes the Three Peaks of Lavaredo almost a unique block, in which even the clouds that touch them have their own whys ;-)

Beautiful your photo of the monument with the breathtaking spectacular background of our mountains; of great value your note on Monte Piana/Monte Pianto. Thank you, thank you for your contribution to the memory and knowledge of the places of unnecessary and inhuman deaths, suffering and atrocities of our First World War.
