grazie Paolo per l'analisi accurata della mia foto. Io ho scattato diverse fotografie ad un emblema tipico di Venezia, il ferro di prua, anzi all'emblema dell' emblema della città: la gondola. E mi piaceva estrarlo dal contesto (anche aumentando molto il contrasto e abbassando la luminosità). Se vedi qui ci sono un'altro paio di foto in cui la gondola non viene quasi più nemmeno accennata e risulta visibile solo il suo particolare della prua (le altre due, per questa "operazione", sono state scattate di notte, infatti). Il formato quadrato mi serviva per ritagliare il più possibile il fotogramma e escludere una porzione superflua di gondola; inoltre, il formato quadrato è utile per dare una sensazione (a mio parere) di un oggetto più concluso nei suoi limiti, per dare quella sensazione di staticità che, sempre a mio parere, questo formato sa dare: come se non ci fosse nient'altro al di fuori. Insomma, non vorrei peccare di presunzione, una specie di hortus conclusus. Se l' idea si sia tradotta correttamente in una foto, ovviamente, è un altro paio di maniche, essendo io un modesto fotografo; ma è comunque piacevole darsi un tema, riflettere, ragionarci su e cercare di...portare a casa un risultato.
