, 1/100 f/6.3, ISO 1000, tripod.

Paul, what can you say? Just applause!! For the ingenuity, meticulous description and passion you put into building your scanning system!
It is beautiful to see all these friends who contribute with their ideas and experiments to fuel this passion for the recovery of analog shots of the past.
Giuseppe, it does not make your "accrocchio" laugh at all, ours are still "accrocchi", plus the less refined. You're going to refine yours, too.
Ciao,
Carlo

Thank you Giuseppe, thank you Carlo, I believe at this point that the difficulty is the diffusion of light ;-)

I wasn't supposed to arouse that much interest... THANK YOU ALL FOR your participation.
I'll leave it at this point.
A cordial greeting, dear friends.

Giuseppe, you are the testimony of sublime art to arrange with imagination and ingenuity, to the "backs" to keep the gods I had not thought ...... congratulations
I've been designing infinitely more complicated things all my life...... (from tomorrow, unfortunately, ....)

Excellent work, sincere compliments; for laziness ;-) I had purchased the Epson Perfection V 700 at the time and scanned my negatives with that and gave them satisfactory results with the medium format and barely acceptable with 35 mm. I think the best domestic results can be achieved with the Nikon Super Coolscan 9000 now unsevable and still very expensive. :-)

For Silvio Maccario: I was also disappointed with the photo scanner (Epson Perfection V300) regarding the digitization of 35mm films.
For this reason I switched to digitization with camera and lens with a rudimentary contraption that I built for the... and the "system" works better than the 8-) scanner.

Loris , a good quality LED diffuser panel is enough for light diffusion, perhaps with a CRI value of > 95 for a more suitable response to 8-) colors. such as:

I use my old and great Epson Perfection 1200 Photo scanner.
Reso obsolete by the manufacturer, due to lack of 64-bit drivers (Win 8.1), resists thanks to a compatible driver of a 'superior' model, of epson :-D
The quality of the scans is more than acceptable, even if it is not excellent.

You are right and I agree.
I am just one of those who has always placed "hobby pleasure" at the top of the ranking and who has never disdained to realize, create, invent.
Still Congratulations
