De Vriendschap è la barca che trasporta i visitatori a vedere le foche sui banchi sabbiosi difronte all'Isola di Texel. è solo una splendida alba , ma più tardi intorno alle 10 partiremo per la crociera di due ore per vedere le foche. La barca è abbastanza capiente, ci si siede direttamente sul ponte e ci sono dei binocoli a disposizione. In meno di mezz'ora raggiunge i banchi di sabbia nel mare di Wadden dove le foche si crogiolano al sole e, abituate ai turisti, li seguono pigramente con lo sguardo annoiato. Non è possibile avvicinarsi troppo per non disturbarle quindi consiglio un buon binocolo o un buon teleobiettivo per fare foto. Complessivamente il tour dura meno di due ore e costa circa 10 euro. Io sono stato fortunato perché la giornata era limpidissima e il mare una tavola.
