Curiosa storia quella del Lago Orfù, presso Oulx (To) in Val di Susa: durante gli scavi e le prospezioni per la costruzione dell'autostrada To-Bardonecchia-Frejus, i lavori portarono alla luce una sorgente sotterranea che, non più imbrigliata nel sottosuolo, in breve colmò la piccola conca naturale, formando il lago. Situato nelle immediate adiacenze della suddetta autostrada, è gestito da una associazione sportiva dilettantistica (vi si pratica la pesca) che ha realizzato un piccolo ma simpatico "lido" attrezzato di tutto punto (attenzione: è vietata la balneazione!) con area pic-nic, bar e persino pedalò.
