Beautiful close up of the magnificent caper flower, very sharp and well enhanced by the black background.
Very precise your description, and in fact it is beautiful to see the flowery starry of caper dangling between the walls.
Then buds and cucunci are a delicacy :-P .
CIAO, Gastone. ;-)

Hello Gastone, I'm happy for your beautiful comment to this floral image.
A sturdy, leaning plant that grows even with little soil, spontaneous even in the cracks of walls or ruins. A delicate flower for shapes and colors that adorns otherwise gray places.
The recipes that include caper among the ingredients, little less known and widespread cucunci
The flower has always fascinated me so much.
Thank you very much for your beautiful words.
A cherished greeting

Hello Biz. Yes the caper we know more as a bud, what we eat, when it opens has this elegance that has always impressed me.
In the Aeolian Islands or Pantelleria, the plant is grown for the harvesting of buds and almost never comes to flowering.
In many other places, however, it grows spontaneously, even in rough places, among the rocks, with very little soil, beautifying, in spring otherwise arid places.
I'm glad you enjoyed
Thank you for your appreciation
A warm greeting
Herst
