Foto Agosto 2018 - Di fronte al porto di Marzamemi si trova un isolotto che ospita un villino color rosso bordeaux di proprietà della famiglia di Raffaele Brancati, medico chirurgo, nativo di Pachino che ha operato a Catania. Nel villino soggiornò anche Vitaliano Brancati, cugino di Raffaele, scrittore e drammaturgo italiano, anche lui nato a Pachino. Per tale motivo l'isola è nota anche col nome di isolotto Brancati.
