Hello Peppe, you're right, it was nice to participate in their joy and satisfaction.
Before the parade, walking around the village, I happened to pass in front of a warehouse, inside I saw fabrics, and colorful accessories, it was evident was the workshop where some of these beautiful costumes had been packaged, I saw these artisans excited, and excited, stood at minutes, to arrive at the moment to exhibit their skilful work.
Thank you very much for your sharing
A dear greeting and good weekend

Hello Mago, I give you absolutely right, the carnival should be, as once, a moment of celebration, of joy that exorcises the rigors of winter that celebrates the approach of spring, moments during which, under the guise of the "masked", they approached rich and poor; nobles and people; males and women, in a single party.
Today these events are often linked to economic motives.
This carnival, in this small town, it still seemed genuine and sincere fun.
Thank you very much for your comment and the discussion cue you opened.
A good weekend greeting and good weekend

Hello Antonella, yes, very colorful and rich masks, really well executed.
They responded to some themes:
Some contained quotes from The States of South America, others like the next one I published: references to fruit and sweets.
Others still of pure fantasy.
Perhaps to exorcise the newspaper, no costume with political and social references
Thank you very much for your intervention, glad you liked this mask.
A dear greeting and a good weekend

Hello John and David.
This carnival really intrigued me, so before and after i I am documented.
The costumes I think are really, as they boast, the most beautiful in Sicily.
All carefully packaged, with so much imagination and functional being able to parade to the music.
It was a really pleasant surprise this carnival :-P
Thank you very much for your beautiful and rewarding words, very kind.
A dear greeting and good Sunday :-) :-)
