Da Ragusa scendendo ad Ibla si incontra a fiuredda della Madonna del Rosario. Infatti, si può notare a sinistra Ragusa superiore con uno dei suoi ponti, mentre a destra si incomincia ad intravedere Ibla. Durante la passata civiltà contadina il popolo era molto religioso, frequentava la chiesa, ma voleva più diretti contatti con i Santi e con Dio. Infatti, esistevano ed esistono ancora in numero ormai esiguo, le edicole votive, chiamate anche altarini, o fiureddi. Alcune, come questa, ristrutturate. Le edicole erano poste ai quattro punti cardinali o presso le principali uscite del paese, spesso caratterizzate da una croce sulla sommità…………………………………………….
