Il faro di Punta Lingua, si trova sull'isola di Salina, che fa parte dell'arcipelago delle Eolie. Sulla punta pianeggiante di Salina che è rivolta verso l'isola di Lipari, a segnalare ai naviganti il canale tra le due isole è posto questo faro. A ridosso del faro, separato dal mare da una sottile fascia di terra esiste un laghetto, il "lago di Lingua". La foto è scattata con il faro ed il suo riflesso sul suddetto lago, a sinistra la luna piena che si specchia, anch'essa sul laghetto. Alle spalle del faro la vicina isola di Lipari. Recentemente questo faro è stato restaurato ed i locali annessi, adibiti ad ospitare un piccolo museo. Una sala raccoglie la storia del faro che recentemente è stato salvato da una furiosa mareggiata che stava per distruggerlo. In un altra sala reperti provenienti anche da altri fari. La terza sala ospiterà mostre temporanee.
