Milan yesterday and today sent on July 22, 2019 (21:14) by Annamaria Pertosa. 47 comments, 1265 views. [retina]

, 1/50 f/5.6, ISO 1600, hand held. Milano, Italy.

Beautiful image, beautiful selective desaturation, but I especially enjoyed your caption even in Catania in the 70s you could breathe that climate, and there were frequent clashes between groups of extremists, but as you said, we were full of dreams and hopes, congratulations Annamaria for your sensitivity.
A Hagata greeting ;-)

A beautiful street and a caption reminiscent of the Milan of that time. All true what you wrote.
Today, fortunately or not, things have changed but with them certain values that were once gained with sweat and today a little unknown.
Congratulationdear Annamaria.
A warm greeting.

Nice snap and beautiful caption.
It's nice to recall memories and being 58 years old I understand what you write.
This time, however, I do not agree on the use of colors and in particular what you have highlighted: the red on that girl who is perhaps young and who above all goes away and of which only side b is highlighted;
the second color, the blue, would have deserved him the pleasant lady who walks next to him and I do not understand why he hugs his son and not the likely partner. Bah mysteries! Men are changing for the worse.
In fact your photo from so many ideas for reflection.
Congratulation
Mark

poignant, nostalgic and very true story. I would add regret for an age that does not return, but also a little hope for the future, after all young people manage to distinguish good and evil and in the end, growing up, they choose :-) congratulations on the lucid tale, hello

I found the picture beautiful... but even more so the caption that reminded me of the same years... but in Bologna: very good Maria... 8-)
Do i think... the character in the blue shirt... he looks a bit like Vittorio Feltri as a young man... in those years... even if given the elegance with which he always dresses, he immediately removes him as a likely candidate... ;-)
Good weekend... 8-)

It's not yesterday's day
But today.
Don't despair and see the positive!!
Your shot that says yesterday is also today...
Beautiful your choice of spot color that makes a precise sense to your thinking!!

I experienced him firsthand those times (university of sociology in Trento dociet... Curcio was one of the prominent exponents of that absurd barbarism). '68 was a socio-cultural phenomenon of the great mass movements. Important social changes have always been accompanied by violent and often heinous episodes. I read (as always) your analysis that I share in everything. Chapeau Annamaria.
bye gios ;-)
