Beh con altri 5 scatti per la zona superiore si, avrei potuto sicuramente includerla... tanto il lavoro grosso di stitching me l'ha fatto ICE Tool... ma se avessi incluso in questo modo anche la torre, avrei preso pure una larghissima fetta di cielo, che però francamente era ininfluente ai fini della mille miglia!
Avrebbe forse avuto più senso, al fine di includere anche la torre e darle uguale importanza rispetto alla manifestazione, una ripresa in verticale, con un fisheye o ultragrandangolare, fatta dalla "Costarella" (il vicolo in discesa, che vedi a destra, fra i palazzi, poco più a destra della torre del Duomo)! In quel modo torre e piazza sarebbero stati allineati, e si sarebbero divisi equamente il frame... se metto la torre qui, metà frame se ne va per il cielo purtroppo invece...
Fra l'altro, l'ultra wide l'ho comprato solo due giorni fa, quando ci fu la mille miglia non ce l'avevo in effetti!

Un po' di distorsione, in zone specifiche, credo sia rimasta si... ho purtroppo corretto la prospettiva solo globalmente con ICE Tools, e con lo stiracchiamento dell'immagine intera su Gimp, tutto questo dopo aver fatto lo stitching panoramico delle 5 foto di partenza; quindi in effetti potrebbero essere rimaste parti con lievi distorsioni residue, che tuttavia avrei dovuto correggere con una complessa gabbia di trasformazione su Gimp che - ahimé! - non è alla portata del mio computer! 
Ho badato a tenere più dritte possibile nel complesso le linee verticali, e mi son fidato di quello... la prossima volta proverò a correggere la prospettiva dei singoli scatti, questo dovrebbe aiutare sia lo stitching che la gradevolezza del risultato finale!
(PS, comunque considera - non so se ci sei stato a Siena - che la piazza del Campo ha realmente la forma di una conchiglia: è curva ed in pendenza verso il Palazzo Comunale!)
