Hello Frederick, you are right: light: of the central hours of the day and sky, were not perfect, but....
;-)
Happy you found the caption interesting: I always try to compromise between useful news and not being too long, risking to tire the reader.
Thank you so much for your passage, nice comment and for the always welcome compliments.

The sky did not help you but you were able to counterbalance by inserting a floral touch that catches the eye with a beautiful color contrast, also very interesting the caption that reaffirms once again the great historical heritage of our country and of the beautiful trinacria.
Many compliments
A big hug

Hi Pierpaolo, I'm glad you enjoyed snap and caption.
The archaeological site of Selinunte is truly fascinating: both for its extension (you visit it with mini rubber trains that run along the dirt roads that branch out throughout the area), and for the monuments it welcomes, and for the fragment of Sicily, saved by the modern constructions and characterized by a disruptive nature and a beautiful sea, all in a very evocative symbiosis.
Thank you so much for your beautiful comment and for the always very welcome compliments.
Hello, a dear hug

Hello Tractor, you have perfectly grasped what struck me too, this wonderful fusion between history, art and overbearing nature in spring explosion.
Content you enjoyed this shot, thank you very much for your beautiful words.

Beautiful scene with this architectural jewel, beautiful flowery lawn in the foreground. A more choreographic sky would have given more character to the photo but, perhaps, would have stolen some scene at the temple. Anyway, I really like it. Hello

A warm spring day, with overcast skies.
The archaeological site was in full floral splendor, instead the sky that day, unfortunately, rather anonymous, but as you wrote, so did not steal space at the temple.
I liked this picture
Thank you very much
A great greeting
Sergio
