Questa versione in b/n segue un'altra mia foto a colori precedentemente pubblicata sullo stesso soggetto. ----- Ogni commento, critica o consiglio sarà sicuramente gradito. ------Pertengo (VC), santuario campestre dedicato alla Madonna d'Oropa. Piccola, solitaria chiesa che sorge isolata tra i campi, nel periodo estivo circondata da risaie. Eretta nel 1742 in seguito ad un fatto ritenuto prodigioso, avvenuto nel luogo dove sorgeva un pilastro con l'immagine della Madonna d'Oropa. Si dice che il 2 febbraio, festa della Madonna "Candelora", nonostante il freddo pungente e la neve, alcuni viandanti videro qui un biancospino con i fiori e i frutti maturi. I padri lateranensi di Sant'Andrea di Vercelli, considerando prodigioso l'avvenimento, decisero di costruire questo piccolo santuario, oggi meta di numerose processioni.
