Il Chamaenerion fleischeri, comunenemente chiamato Garofanino di Fleischer o Epilobio di Fleischer, appartiene alla famiglia delle Onagraceae ed è diffuso in quasi tutto l'arco alpino, ad eccezione della zona alpina più orientale (Veneto e Friuli), tra i 600 ed i 2.700 m. slm. Il nome del genere deriva dal greco chamái, a terra, basso e da Nerium oleandro: che ricorda un piccolo oleandro. La specie è dedicata a Fleischer (inizio sec. XIX), farmacista tedesco che lo utilizzò in erboristeria. Scatto effettuato nel mese di Luglio 2018 a Santa Caterina Valfurva ad una quota di circa 1.720 m. slm.
