Situato a Plouzané, comune bretone del Finistère, il faro di Petit Minou si trova sulla costa settentrionale del canale di Brest su di una roccia a picco sul mare, di fronte all'omonimo forte, e collegato ad esso da un ponte di pietra. Il faro indica la rotta da seguire per entrare nella baia e raggiungere il porto di Brest. Edificato a metà del diciannovesimo secolo, fu completamente automatizzato alla fine degli anni 80. Il faro è costruito in pietra bugnata dell'Aber Ildut, e si eleva a ventisei metri sul terreno. Il faro del Petit Minou avrebbe preso il nome dal bretone “min” che significa bocca, che, al plurale, diventa “minou”, cioè gattino. Davanti al faro si può ammirare una torre bianca che, fino al 1984, fungeva da torre-semaforo della Marina. Scatto effettuato nel Settembre 2018.
