Where is the pride of the Sardinians? sent on January 05, 2019 (0:29) by Emmegiu. 61 comments, 2267 views. [retina]

at 75mm, 1/250 f/10.0, ISO 125, hand held.

Emme, I disagree with your pessimistic view. I was fortunate to visit Sardinia several times and with regard to pride, the sense of belonging, I can guarantee that you perceive very strong. Casomai, as you notice many users and friends, the problem is more Italian than Sardinian. It is not easy to solve the economic problem, that is how to make income, in a world so globalized and competitive. You yourself indicate the way, however, to regain possession of your land, to respect the environment, to protect it because it is a source of income, to make products that no one else does. For what I could see, the Sardinians are doing it. Congratulations on the photo, and for the discussions you open, a greeting.

The point is precisely this Emme, I have deliberately kept it. The problem is purely political, with the lowercase P. I speak to you from a region where these problems are elevated to maximum power. You put your finger in the plague but at the same time also indicate the solution, the policy, together with a change of mentality. The road is just this, there are no other.

Hello Joseph! Another shot that confirms your undisputed photographic skills of storyteller, troubadour, Bard and a little druid to which you started with your shots!
A beautiful insight into the Sardinian culture and folklore that has very ancient roots and keeps alive the traditions of a millenarian people!
a people so... can not be bent by the problems of this time is only a matter of time because it rises in all its beauty and pride!
A soon,
Simone

Dear Joseph, I hope that there is no longer need the pride of anyone, it would be the sign that there would be no more abuse, that the strong leaves the space to the weak, that those who fail recognizes, apologizes and changes the way to behave, would be the sign that the world is disintegrating A wonderful place.
But this is just the dream, the Utopia of a dreamer :-(
Beautiful photo and excellent document
A big hug
Pierpaolo ;-)

of the lighthouse people of civilization what has it been? Only crumbs and pride in the village festivals
You could rephrase the question with: "What's left of the Italian people? Not continuous. :-|
Comment Your Click saying that I like it very much. Nice time, good colors. You feel the dynamic of the moment ;-)

:-o beautiful shot of an event definitely very felt by all the inhabitants of Sardinia and not only of the country involved , unfortunately write things a lot,too true, I have the luck (or maybe the problem) to carry out an RSU assignment in my company and I assure you that The real problem is getting dozens of people to lift their backs... resign.... who's got so many skeptics down... I was chosen because I speak, because I carry on our claims without fear, because no one can offend us with impunity... maybe precisely because my great-grandfather, my grandfather, my father, I am Sardo ... like You who can bring these beautiful images of celebration but also of reflection that apply to Sardinia but also to the other regions of an Italy reduced just badly...
Deu seu casteddaiu. Sighi tell us who prasme me mere, to you biri mellusu
Roby
