Thanks Claudio, makes me happy your careful comment to this shot, I tried to give the deserved tribute to this church that has really impressed me.
Fascinating all the monumental complex that, as written, also includes the cloister, open to the public only recently and still in the state of use left by the nuns, also interesting for this. To complete the visit, beautiful also the walk on the rooftops with a view on famous buildings of Palermo, in particular on Piazza Pretoria with the homonymous fountain, very scenic; On the town hall; On the Church of San Cataldo and Santa Maria Dell'ammiraglio.
Thanks also for the compliments ;-)
A dear greeting

Thanks Brundeca, perfectly agree with you on the beauty of this church, but I would say the city of Palermo all. In the past year I happened to go there several times and to know her better and I found it of great charm.

Thank you Eus for your words in favor of this image and for the compliments.
Si This church has been open to the public for a long time.
If your visit to Palermo dates back a few years ago, in 2018, this city was elected City of culture, on that occasion opened many structures that were previously closed and benefited from interventions of restoration and landscaping.
still remains the typical contrast with the presence of ruins in the historic center and buildings decidedly neglected, but its face, overall is much improved. The creation of the pedestrian island in the old town has made it a very pleasant city to visit on foot.
