... Bravo Rod... A click must know how to tell a context....! -Target centered in full.... Thank you with all your heart X have succeeded---in the years 80 I visited the concentration camp Dachau... As always I had reflex in tow.... After crossing the gate, I tried only a strong sense of discomfort and "shame" and I hid everything in the bag-what else could I shoot if not an "empty" photo

Hello Rod
Aurora sees.. The essential that is invisible to the eyes....
We should also, frequently, close our eyes... listen to ourselves and others.... not to let us escape the essentials....
Wishes you heart for a serene 2019
Alessandra

It is not always the light that gives substance to a photo.
Great Ro!

Ro, you're right this is not a picture is much more.
See is often distraction that distances us from reality, feelings, life, they perceive and that's why they see much more than us.
Thank you for making me participate in this experience of yours.
Eraldo. :-P

Bravo Rod So you do, I had thought long ago for a tragedy to post a black picture, but then I desisted but you did very well because you made the idea well and the idea is also the basis of photography even if the darkness is the negation of light and therefore the denial of the To photography, but if we are human we can see even in the dark to discern the feelings, a hug and greetings for a year rich in health and great satisfactions

A photo your that together with the story made me reflect on the human condition of those who do not have the gift of sight, that material.
is certainly not easy to understand how they feel, indeed, as you say, probably will never know; I am nearsighted almost always I can understand the importance of being able to see distinctly without the help of glasses or lenses and I realize how who has The perfect view can not understand the discomfort of having a slight handicap like mine.
Certainly I can not compare to Aurora, I saw cmq the beauty of the world and also the ugly, I saw the colors of the rainbow and the colors of the fiori......ma then I think.... we can appreciate to the bottom of the beauties that we can admire?
Maybe it's just what Aurora thinks "they may guardare....ma not see"
a great proposal your
so many compliments
Pierpaolo

@ Pier..
"They may guardare....ma not see"

... often we do not find time to dwell even just a moment to reflect on certain issues and this is why I wanted to share with you my experience, a big thank you for Having done it with me, for expressing your opinion on it, a few moments of absolute darkness, make us review the whole thing under a new light...
Fully appreciate the beauties that we can admire
.
A dear greeting and many wishes for a very happy 2019!

Someone, here on the forum (I do not remember who, or if it was a quote or phrase) wrote:
"The only wrong photo and the one with the cap."
Behold, you Rod, with this shot, you have also denied this axiom, you have shown us, and that even a photo not photos, can have its own because: your story is moving and just as it stimulated your sensibility has awakened also our, read it is an Strong emotional eperience. As you predicted the dismay of those who open your photo, reading the story, turns into approval to it, how you interpreted it, and have wanted to share.
Thanks Rod. I like it goes to the story and to you, with all the admiration.
Thanks for the greetings that spare: Happy year!

I can't find the words for a comment to the height of what you wrote. And there would not even be a more suitable image than you published. It's All Black is true, but it is the photo that touched the heart of all of us!
Thanks for this cue for reflection Rod, and many good wishes for a happy year! Paul
