Il girasole è una pianta annuale, appartiene alla famiglia delle Asteracee. La sua etimologia è data dall'incrocio di due nomi di origine greche: helios (sole) e anthos (fiore), da qui il nome fiore del sole o per noi appunto Girasole, nome dato dalla caratteristica di girare il bocciolo sempre in direzione appunto del sole. E' originario del Perù dove gli Incas lo consideravano l'immagine del loro Dio sole. E' presente in molte zone di Italia, negli orti come nei campi. Ormai è entrato in innumerevoli foto. Pareri e consigli sempre graditi.
