E' raro che i Macaoni vadano a dormire sui fiori come accade per molte altre specie di lepidotteri; si rifugiano per la notte sugli alberi ed infatti è più facile fotografarli di giorno quando si posano sui fiori per nutrirsi. Questo è uno scatto fatto in natura in tarda mattinata, al limite delle ore propizie per le macro naturalistiche e quindi li l'ho trovato e fotografato. Come noterai il Macaone è asciutto, la rugiada è ormai evaporata ed è quasi pronto per il “decollo”; se avessi cercato di spostarlo per adagiarlo in un set più gradevole, con alta probabilità sarebbe volato via asciandomi a bocca asciutta. Ho preferito portare a casa lo scatto, seppur compositivamente "brutto", ma tuttavia, sotto l'aspetto naturalistico, per certi versi, più genuino e apprezzabile. D'altro canto mille foto dello stesso soggetto, simili tra loro, annoiano un po', non trovi?
