Thank you all. The photo is part of a series of 2500 shots made in 2 days with his friend Francis B which of course I thank. I was curious to see your opinions ... The photo definitely has flaws: for example, I find it a bit distracting the blur at the base that maybe I could be reduced by a better composition ... not sure I've thought about, but I did not find the cut convinced me completely ... bah! Anyway while I was shooting in bursts "muted" I immediately thought that I had made the "big score": I saw the water rise and I hoped for had not mistaken the fire in these situations is what worries me most. The distance was not reduced. Crop 50% and 2 x are proof of this.

Thanks again for the comments. Welcome even those with constructive criticism for improvement.

Picture really gorgeous, penalised by the composition. Being so low, and keep the subject in the Center weakens the image, which is super. Choice that was made during shooting, however, if it is a crop of 50%, you can definitely make up for it, holding the bottom edge of the image just below the subject.

Congratulations.

Marco

Mark Mercuri: thank you for the Tip: do I treasure. I do not deny that among the alternatives I had passed my mind to keep little base under the subject, but then I messed with spirals, grids, diagonals, Fibonacci ...:-D and I lost. I had to follow more intuition and less rules:-D

Changed
ratio and composition (so he's gone that ugly green blur confused distracting), eliminated branch and little reflection, reduced cyan intrusive. Hello, mark Mercuri: better? Par to me so. Thank you!!!! :-D
