Una storia vera Nel 2016 decisi di andare in Myanmar. Come al solito iniziai a documentarmi e a contattare agenzie locali. Finalmente decisi e partii. Arrivato all'aeroporto trovai il solito cartello con il mio nome e l'autista dell'agenzia mi portò nella sede dell'agenzia. Ricordo il palazzo era fatiscente, salii le scale esterne ed ero molto titubante. Arrivato finalmente al secondo piano incontrai il gentilissimo titolare che avevo conosciuto solo tramite mail, mi fece accomodare e li definii gli ultimi aspetti organizzativi. Mi alzai e feci per andarmene, ma a quel punto mi fermò e mi disse …….”vorrei farle una raccomandazione …durante il vostro viaggio incontrerete tanta gente e soprattutto tanti bambini non date loro dei soldi per fare le fotografie. Molti genitori stanno togliendo i loro figli dalle scuole perché i turisti pagano per fargli le foto. Io amo il mio Paese vi chiedo di non farlo, grazie” Dopo qualche giorno arrivai a Bagan, nella piana delle 1000 pagode. Girai dietro ad una di queste pagode e trovai 2/3 fotografi con tanto di lampade, cavalletti e macchine fotografiche, insomma un set fotografico. Stavano fotografando una anziana donna che si metteva in posa e soprattutto questo bambino messo appositamente dalla mamma all'interno di una cesta. Dopo aver fatto centinaia di scatti consegnarono dei soldi al bambino che li prese e li diede a sua madre. Quel giorno quel bimbo probabilmente non andò a scuola, fece contenta sua madre che aveva guadagnato la giornata, ma lui non era felice.
