Dear Stefano, they are tools of the trade, which made me discover another world. A boy who photographed people in 1960 was not a trivial matter, I was the only one in the country. With my long and "comfortable" installments as you would say now, to pay for the camera. I assure you that they were not comfortable :-P 8-) :-D have a nice day. FB

I thank you for the precious testimony of life and I express all my admiration for those who, like you, have had to face sacrifices and difficulties in their work as a photographer. Certainly today, thanks to technological progress, everything
it has become infinitely simpler and more comfortable.
Best wishes, Franco.

Thank you so much, Simone. The Ikonta of Zeiss Ikon represents, with dozens and dozens of other machines of the time, an important piece of the history of photography.

A jewel of optical mechanics, to be kept jealously guarded (as you will certainly be doing). As a kid I did some shots with a more recent Zeiss Ikon, it was the director of the colony of Montemaggio, of which my father was a custodian. I was fascinated by the beauty of that car and its bellows opening mechanism.
Congratulations for the nice shot and the caption document Stefano :-)
