19.08.2017 Abbiamo incontrato questo Leone durante la nostra ultima mattina nella riserva del Samburu. Dopo aver visto all'alba i Licaoni ci siamo presi qualche minuto di pausa per riprenderci dalla straordinaria cattura e ci siamo diretti al fiume...eravamo nel territorio dei Leoni. Abbiamo subito trovato un maschio isolato, un po' malconcio con tanti segni di lotta sulla testa, stava dormendo all'ombra di un acacia...purtroppo la luce non era ottimale, ma ci fermammo qualche minuto. Poco distante un suono iniziò a rimbombare...erano due Leoni in amore. Così tutto fu chiaro, i due maschi contendenti avevano lottato e il vincitore, nell'immagine, si era procurato due grosse cicatrici sul muso ma anche la possibilità di accoppiarsi con la sua regina. Storie di vita, cicatrici che raccontano. I nostri ultimi Leoni del 2017.
