Alzarsi ogni giorno alle 4.30 per uscire a fotografare l'alba, nella speranza di riuscirsi, può essere faticoso, soprattutto se lo fai per dieci giorni di fila, ma quel giorno la levataccia fu ben ripagata perché a Hvitserkur, una roccia dalla forma che ricorda vagamente un rinoceronte che si abbevera, l'alba fu la più bella a cui io abbia mai assistito, e la foto ne restituisce solo in parte la grandiosità.
