Questo stretto vicolo porta direttamente al mare. Ci passavo tutti i pomeriggi per andare in Biblioteca o a lezione di piano. Da ragazzina ci ho giocato tante volte, venivamo qui in gruppo dalla parte moderna della città, perché, questi vicoli erano quasi del tutto privi di traffico, e ci si poteva giocare tranquillamente. Allora, tutto il vecchio centro cittadino, era abitato da famiglie di pescatori, e d'estate ricordo le donne e le ragazze in età da marito, fuori dagli usci di casa, sedute in strada a chiacchierare e a rammendare reti per la pesca, o cucire biancheria per il corredo di nozze. Un piccolo mondo che non esiste più: ora tutte queste case e casette, sono state restaurate, e affittate ai turisti che sempre più numerosi arrivano d'estate. Le stanze a pianterreno, da garage, bottegucce e ricoveri per barche e reti d'inverno, sono diventate: pizzerie, ristoranti, bar, tutti locali che ormai fanno tendenza. Quando ci ripasso, rivedo quei vicoli come allora, come quand'ero ragazzina, e mi sembra di risentire le voci infantili dei miei compagni/e di giochi, e di rivedere i volti di quelle belle figlie di pescatori che, ormai sono diventate nonne.
