L'anno scorso ho tentato la cattura delle Perseidi nella cornice del Cervino, sfruttando la panoramica in direzione nord che consentiva di includere la costellazione di Perseo nella scena. Quest'anno ho optato per un'ambientazione diversa, in alta Valle Po, con il Monviso, il Re di pietra, il simbolo del panorama del Piemonte, cercando di mettere a frutto l'esperienza maturata durante la cattura del 2016. Questa ambientazione presenta alcune difficoltà tecniche aggiuntive rispetto al Lago Blu del Cervino. Per prima cosa la location: il punto migliore per vedere il Monviso è, a mio parere, Punta Ostanetta, con il Monviso sull'orizzonte sud. Lo svantaggio è che diventa difficile inquadrare il Perseo includendo elementi del paesaggio a sud, pur utilizzando un ultragrandangolare come lo Zuiko 8mm. Il vantaggio, però, è che si può includere il maestoso nucleo galattico nella scena! Punta Ostanetta, inoltre, non è raggiungibile in auto ma occorrono un paio d'ore di scarpinata. Ne ho approfittato per portarmi la tenda e avere un elemento da includere nella scena, oltre che avere un po' di comfort extra. Da ultimo, la serata presentava un cielo sgombro da nuvole ma con una leggera e fastidiosa foschia estiva, che mi ha fatto tribolare parecchio in post per eliminare quell'effetto di "patina". Ma almeno il grosso della foschia si è fermato ai miei piedi, intorno ai 2000 metri, formando il "tappeto di luce" che si può vedere in foto! Giudicate voi ;)

eheh, I misunderstanded then :-D certainly is a shot that has the content "advanced" and also required a nice hike, unfortunately that day there was a annoying haze, as you can see, which has spread the light in the bottom of the frame in a way that does not satisfy me. I could go back, I would go up again and I would look for a point of recovery higher than at least 100 or 200 meters, in order to overcome this blanket in a clear way. In this I think it can be improved ;-)
