Errata corrige del tutto in buona fede, magari con un pò di entusiasmo ho postato la foto del biancone sbagliando soggetto grazie a una più accurata verifica si tratta di una poiana juv. o poiana dalla coda bianca mi scuso con tutti per l'errore … Un ringraziamento particolare all'amico Piergiorgio per l'aiuto datomi, senza il quale non avrei potuto realizzare la foto a questo splendido rapace … Il biancone (Circaetus galilicus) è detto anche aquila dei serpenti, fa la comparsa nei cieli delle montagne Venete con l'arrivo della primavera, su quote da 700 a 2700 metri è un grosso rapace (apertura alare 170-190 cm) si nutre prevalentemente di rettili in particolare serpenti, non è inusuale vederlo in volo con uno di questi ofidi nel becco. La vita massima è di 18 anni circa. Generalmente silenzioso, può emettere un fischio modulato e musicale: nel periodo riproduttivo emette in volo sul nido una specie di canto melodico.
