Of course at that time the buildings knew how to do it, they are harmonious with everything else.

The magnificent place I visited several years ago, unfortunately on a day with covered sky, similar to what I see in this photo, light therefore is a little tough and turns off some colors (I do not know if you've passed For a while, but I try a post, to give a warm-up to the environment and the colors I would have also evaluated by trying to match the balance of white on "shadow" or "cloudy" considering any general benefits); - ).
Very pleasant and suggestive photo in each case composed as it should; Very good Gios.
Congratulations, Claudio :-P

I tried them all in "raw" room and not; But believe me that light made me damn. I could not grasp the right balance. I also tried a bw version, but then I declined the choice for logical reasons. Piazza dei Miracoli for me is admired in color, as it actually appears to the visitor. Otherwise, there remains a monstrous photo, with no expression. In the end I chose this version, the least worse (for me). Finally Claudio with PS I barcameno to the worse worse, I'm not a portent with that software.
Bye gios ;-)
