A beautiful sky Tim, but it maybe take up too much space in the frame, in person (say mine), I would have left the band at the 1/3 and 2/3 earth to heaven to balance the compo ;-); and 'a panoramic anyway.
Greetings, Claudio :-P

Thanking everybody once again, thanks so much.

I would like to defend my sky/land ratio - it's sometimes known as the John Ford effect - the genius Western film director who would occasionally feature breathtaking opening scenes usually set in Monument Valley with a tiny strip of land and huge skies. They made the West look vast and incredible.

As to this image, my title takes precedence to the sky and due to the very wide lens, the strip of land is only interesting towards the horizon and distant fields, the rather boring green grass at the very bottom is just that, a bit boring and more of that rather than extra interesting sky would never have even entered my mind. I'd certainly use this ratio again and again, but only where appropriate.
