#StorieDiPiume #Verde #Wild Luì Piccolo (Phylloscopus collybita) È un piccolo Passeriforme, la cui lunghezza non supera gli 11 centimetri, per circa 8 grammi di peso e apertura alare di 16-18 centimetri. La livrea è di colore olivastro, le zampe scure. La stria sugli occhi non è così marcata come nei congeneri luì. È molto simile nell'aspetto al Luì grosso, da cui è possibile distinguerlo appunto per la stria sul capo, meno marcata, ma anche per il diverso colore delle zampe. Il Luì piccolo si nutre di ragni, piccoli insetti, larve e crisalidi. Di solito nidifica in boschi ricchi di sottosuolo, siepi, radure e formazioni arbustive. Durante l'inverno frequenta anche giardini, frutteti e zone umide. Specie dalla valenza ecologica particolarmente ampia, lo si ritrova alle altitudini più diverse, fino al limite della vegetazione arborea, purché siano presenti alberi e sottobosco vario e abbondante. Il periodo di cova va da aprile a giugno. Ogni coppia depone di solito fino a due covate, in un nido preparato vicinissimo al suolo con foglie, muschio ed erba. Ogni covata conta in media 5-6 uova, bianche e finemente punteggiate di nero e rosso. L'incubazione dura di solito 13 giorni e ad occuparsi della cova sono, solitamente, entrambi i genitori. Dopo 20-25 giorni dalla schiusa i pulcini lasciano il nido e sono in grado di volare e nutrirsi autonomamente. FONTE: http://www.uccellidaproteggere.it/
