La mia prima foto del 2017 è dedicata ai Sternsinger (cantanti della stella). Sono dei bambini che vanno in giro da casa in casa per raccogliere delle offerte per i bambini bisognosi, in genere per l'America Latina e in particolare per il Perù. Il ricavato viene usato per permettere ai bambini di frequentare una scuola e di poter abitare nelle vicinanze. I Sternsinger, fanno riferimento alla visita dei Re Magi a Gesù bambino. Si tratta di una tradizione della Chiesa Cattolica. Le prime azioni dei Sternsinger, vengono registrate il 1541 in Salzburg. La tradizione si espanse a partire dal 1560. Questi bambini erano in giro a Coburg in Baviera a 10 gradi sotto zero, il giorno della Befana. Unica ricompensa per loro sono i dolciumi donati dagli abitanti, i soldi come detto vanno ai bambini bisognosi.
