Nella tradizione Ligure si usa portare in processione i Cristi , grandi e pesanti croci che superano spesso i 100 kg , si parla di alcuni casi in cui il peso supera , se pur di poco , i 150 kg. Ogni Cristo ha una scorta di 7/8 "Cristezanti"(termine Genovese)che muniti di robuste e larghe bretelle di cuoio imbottito che si congiungono alla vita a un grosso cinturone al quale è applicato il "Crocco"una specie di robusta scodella dove viene appoggiata la base affusolata del Cristo per poter essere trasportato , tenendolo in equilibrio .Di solito i portatori per ogni Crocifisso sono 3 o 4 che si danno il cambio , aiutati nell'operazione delicata di traslazione da un portatore all'altro , da "u stramuou" che afferra la croce , alla base con una mano , e un apposito piolo metallico posto più in alto , con l'altra mano e la tiene sollevata sulle braccia il tempo necessario ad effettuare il cambio.Anche questi che effettuano la traslazione , di solito sono 2 o 3 . Tutti i componenti del gruppo circondano il portatore di turno mentre cammina , guardinghi e pronti ad intervenire ad ogni malaugurata evenienza. Mi sono dilungato un po' , ma mi faceva piacere raccontare come si svolge questa antica manifestazione Ligure. Ps So benissimo che come foto non è un gran che , fatta col telefonino alle nove di sera con poca luce e perciò anche un po' mossa ma , il mio intento era quello di presentare un documento di questo tipo di manifestazione , che probabilmente non a tutti è nota nei particolari descritti.
