Thank you Camouflaji. I have re-checked the original files and for this image I melted two shows to compensate for the high lights under some strings. However I used SPP to extract the TIFFs and then merged the two exposures manually. For what I could see, the only way to preserve Foveon's intrinsic quality is to use SPP to convert X3F.
I hope that the square in question you liked, I think it's as beautiful as little known outside of Cremona.
