L'importante edificio sorge all'estremità di ponente di via Balbi, sul lato verso mare e si affaccia a monte sulla piazza Acquaverde, in posizione d'angolo, antistante la stazione ferroviaria di Genova Principe e nelle immediate vicinanze del Porto Antico, del Centro storico del polo Universitario genovese. Il personale della biblioteca simpatico ed accogliente come un leghista a Lampedusa tra i profughi, dopo un minuto dal mio ingresso, dubbioso sulle mie intenzioni, mi ha invitato a fare presto...ah,ah.
